"I made $433,549 before I was 23"
I’m a very positive guy and I believe that:
“There are more things in Heaven and Earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”
So, I’m easily motivated by online claims like: “a 23-year-old made $433,549, or a 16-years old made millions”. And I believe if they can do it, I can too. I don’t envy or hate them. But I also take all such claims with a pinch of salt.
You’ll find many bold claims on the internet nowadays. They might be true or complete bogus. The people making these claims may have rich parents or be self-made. You don’t know that, neither do I. And it’s very important you take away the right lessons from such stories. Because such stories have the potential to make you feel like a loser.
You must know where you are, where you want to go, and what your life principles are.
For example, I am from a small city in India. I have no idea what earning $433,549 means. Even if I convert this money to Indian rupee, it won’t give me the real picture. Because earning the same amount of money in India and USA is completely different due to the difference in cost of living.
Then, where you want to go in life.
What are YOUR goals?
What do you believe in?
What’s important to you? Money? Family? Making an Impact in your career? Help others?
If their message and lifestyle align with yours, only then should you follow the advice of people who make such bold claims.
So, be a good judge. Of not the people but whether their message is good fit for you and your life.
Thank you!
