[Achievement Unlocked] - Reached the Mythic Rank in Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB)

And its significance for you and me

My friends and I thought Mythic ranked players were some kind of mystical beings… who had superpowers in real life.

And we couldn’t imagine becoming a Mythic ranked player.

Because it was way out of our league.

In this email, I’ll reveal the lesson I got after becoming a Mythic ranked player, and what you can learn from it.

What’s a Mythic Ranked Player?
What’s Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB)?

Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) is a 5-on-5 mobile video game. It’s played online with random players on the internet.

You rise up in rank by winning “rank matches”. You play within your rank i.e., with players on the same skill level as you are.

The ranks in MLBB start from Warrior III and go up to Mythical Immortal.

• Mythic ← I’m here

• Legend I, II, III, IV, V

• Epic I, II, III, IV, V

• Grandmaster I, II, III, IV, V

• Master I, II, III, IV

When me and my friends started playing during the 2020 COVID lockdown, we could not imagine becoming Mythic.

Today, my 3 friends (who started with me) and I are Mythic Players. And we still have a long way to go.

But for me, this is more than a mere achievement in a video game.

Because reaching the Mythic Rank showed me that when you keep at something and don’t give up, you reach levels of competence you never imagined.

And this not only applies in video games, but in all aspects of your life.

From study, job, & career
to meditation, exercise, & bodybuilding
to valuable skills like writing & social skills
to being a dependable member of the family, and
to becoming a good human being.
